    We were all in fine voice for our Harvest Festival event. In addition to the beautiful singing our year two children read their self written, heart warming prayers.

    Later in the morning the children enjoyed planting bulbs ready for spring, designing and making tractors and many other seasonal activities.

  • Clare Luther visits The Oaktree School

    We were visited by Clare Luther, author of the books, The Little Paws Hotel. The children were so excited to meet her and listen to her read her stories. Our Year 2 children were inspired by her stories so much they became authors themselves and wrote their own stories!

    On three occasions in the summer holidays, we welcomed Charlotte Mills and her three teams of ten volunteers from Fefundinfo, who gave their time unconditionally to update and upgrade many areas of the school that were looking tired and in need of a coat of paint.
