Welcome to Squirrel Class Page
In Squirrel Class, we are very lucky to have many helpful, knowledgeable and kind adults to support the children to grow, achieve and succeed.
Miss Harrison teaches in Squirrel Class on a Monday and Tuesday. Miss Harrison enjoys helping the children in developing their confidence and self-esteem. The rest of the school week, Miss Harrison leads inclusion and special educational educational needs and disability (SEND) across The Oaktree School. As SENCO, Miss Harrison is responsible for coordinating the education, care and welfare of children with special needs or disabilities. As well as this, she offers support to families and the community.
Mrs McCulloch teaches in Squirrel on a Thursday and Friday. She enjoys helping the children explore the world around them and learn about their environment. She also enjoys singing songs and rhymes in the classroom... which the children love!
Mrs Larsen teaches Squirrel Class on a Wednesday. She is the Early Years Leader and is very excited to join the Year R Early Years Team this year.
Mrs Nichol is Squirrel Class Teaching Assistant in the mornings. She has worked in Reception for several years and has so much knowledge of Reception Year at The Oaktree School. Mrs Finch is the Teaching Assistant in the afternoons, she is kind and caring and supports children through all their learning experiences.
Miss Funnell, Mrs Morrison, Mrs Martin and Miss Bailey also work in Squirrel Class through various times of the day. They support children who have additional needs, as well as run small group or intervention activities.
