Performance Tables
At the Oaktree School we analyse internal and external data rigorously in order to plan for further school improvement and ensure all children achieve the best results that they can.
Our outside learning curriculum allows children to investigate and explore the world in a practical way, which ensures that our children achieve well in science. The progress that the children made this year was good especially considering the challenges some children met in their lives. We value highly the partnership we have with parents, and we are well supported by the Governing Body to ensure that the children can be the best they can be. We are very proud of our children’s achievements.

SCHOOL RESULTS 2019
Statutory baseline screening, phonics screening and Statutory Tests for End Key Stage 1 ( year 2) we cancelled in summer 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19. Below you can see The Oaktree children’s outcomes compared to 2019 National outcomes.
The information below compares the attainment of our pupils with national averages for the previous year because the national averages are not available yet. We are delighted with the good results across the school. They are a tribute to the children and the staff.

Key Stage One
This is the fourth year of the new testing and assessment arrangements for Year 2. These arrangements reflect the more challenging national curriculum which was introduced in 2014. For more information please see the leaflet Information for parents KS1 from the Standards and Testing Agency.
At the end of KS1 (Yr2), teachers are required to assess each child in the areas of reading, writing, maths and science. National Curriculum assessment tests are used to support teachers’ judgements.
The system of national curriculum levels has been removed and the new measures are as follows:
Expected Standard
Working at the expected standard for a child at the end of Year 2
Greater Depth
Working at greater depth within the expected standard, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
